We're goin' Through Changes...

BLOG CHANGES;

Scrappy Sunday's ; I have decided to Cancel 'Artsy Fartsy Thursday',..it is too broad and frankly, unrealistic, as I much prefer to take on larger-scale projects, and complete them in my own time.  We will instead be featuring 'Scrappy Sunday' I have been meaning to return to scrap-booking (Which I LOVE to do, and find it to be an important way to document my families important memories)  ..I think if I commit to getting AT LEAST one done /week I should be caught up before long (I haven't done ANY pages since I was 5 months pregnant)

Blog Hop; You may have noticed, we are no longer hosting a blog hop, our inlinkz trial ran out, and because my blog is fairly new, and my coding skills lacking, I am not willing (yet, anyways) to pay for the service....Not to mention, It's surprisingly ALOT of work!  Thanks all who linked up in the past,... this will probably be something we explore again in the future, but at this time, its just not working.

- WHERE DO YOU LINK UP (BLOG/GIVEAWAYS/FB/TWITTER ETC.)?  -

 Review/Giveaway To better serve our Review& Giveaway Sponsors, We have decided to limitour Review & Giveaway spaces to 2/month (excluding events ie; Blog hops and
giveaway only posts) Also we will be starting all of the review and giveaways from this day on, on Saturday Midnight (So 12;01 Sunday morning) And Ending 2 weeks later on Sunday midnight (12;01 Monday Morning) in an effort to make Mondays more enjoyable for our winners :)

Personal Changes;

Milk Donations; Since My Last post on the subject, we had 'raised' 52 ounces... THEN my pump broke. For those looking into buying a pump - I DO NOT suggest 'the first years' brand... My motor burned out not once, but TWICE! the first time, I phoned in and they sent me a new motor and some random extra parts - no questions asked, easy peasy ... the second time, I didn't bother. Needless to say, We were forced  to use some of my stored milk, all the while hand-expressing to try to keep my supply up. We got down to 25(ish) ounces before I got a new pump (A WONDERFUL Medela Pump in style DOUBLE electric - Love Love Love it!! ) I also bought a box of Earth Mother Milk Maid Tea. We shall see where I get with that. I am still Desperatly trying to get enough milk to donate - I figured with Baby K starting on Cereal and Fingerfoods, she'd have more milk to spare, but so far, that doesn't seem to be the case. /Sigh.

- HAVE YOU EVER USED A FENUGREEK BASED TEA? - HOW DID YOU SWEETEN IT ? -

Appleton; For those of you who may not be familiar with Appleton (Now Named Dexter) is a rescued Chihuahua from LA who I have been fostering for Sheriff's Rescue (Abbotsford, BC) he has Found his forever home. It is such a bittersweet feeling. I miss him. It seems so lonely in my house, and I wonder frequently if he thinks about me. His new mommy Sends me Text messages and updates on how he is doing, and all seems to be going well. (In fact, much better than I had expected) I am so proud of him ...even just writing this brings happy tears to my eyes!

  1. Oh my goodness, don't waist your time on fenugreek tea, just go straight for the supplements. You can get them at any vitamin store or at Whole Foods. You have to take a lot of them, like 3 3x a day, but they are so worth it. No having to choke down tea that probably tastes like maple syrup and you get so much more of the actual herb. Good luck!

  2. The tea is pretty gross, I must say... but I've heard bad things (like you start smelling like the maple.. ) about the supplements, but I'm sure they're easier than the tea .. hard enough to get through a whole cup let alone the 3 recommended cups! - Thanks for the tip (what's your experience like?)
